I have 2 rental properties from 2 different states and i am from a different state. I want to know how to protect them? Do I need to open any company/LLC, what are the possible options?

@Rabi Ruddy what are you protecting them against? Most likely you have a landlord policy to cover liability. You can also purchase an umbrella.
