How to become a property manager for other people?

Hello!

I'm looking to get some property management experience so that I can have an idea of what that's like before getting into it myself once I start real estate investing.

However, when I went on Google, there wasn't really much information on how to become a landlord or where I can go to to find landlord positions.

So, I would like to ask all of you, how did you become a landlord for other people? What are the pros and cons of being a landlord? And did it help you with your own real estate investing?
