Rental w/ No USPS Mailing Address / Unfinished

Sean Mc

Hi guys,

I'm on the other side - I sold my home and took out a lease on a rental while we look for a new place.  Here's the rub:  The street address of my rental doesn't exist.  It isn't registered with USPS; can't be found on any online service like Google Maps or Amazon, and doesn't even have a mailbox to receive mail.  The landlord and USPS are telling me two different things, and I'm just in the middle.  Are properties allowed to be rented without having a street address and/or mailbox to receive mail?  Any advice for me?  Existing landlords just keep reiterating that the problem is resolved, when clearly it isn't.  Not sure what to do.

Thanks guys,

Sean
