BRRRR Method in NYC is a bit difficult

Has anyone ever BRRRR in NYC ..... to find a great dea here is really hard because of jacked up prices and apartments might not be the best way to BRRRR HERE IN NYC. Any advice? Looking to go to Jersey as it has better opportunities to BRRRR.
