Hi. I am about to close on my first rental property. There are no appliances currently in there home. Is it better to buy new appliances or used one? And where is the best place to purchase from? Also, would you guys buy a microwave for the tenants or leave the property without one? Thanks!

@Morgan Granger I would suggest buying new appliances because by purchasing second hand ones, there's no guarantee on how long these may last and they could also break down, wasting both your time and money. The best places to purchase these appliances would be Costco, Home Depot, etc; honestly any place that gets you a great deal. As for the microwave, I think it's a great idea to buy one for your tenants since everyone needs it these days, even though most landlords do not provide one in their rentals.
