Should I collect rent during eviction

Gina Nicolas
Posted

Hello everyone, I will be filing for eviction on one  my tenant for excessive noise and harassing my other good tenant. Now this eviction has nothing to do with paying rent since she is current on her rent. My question is, once I send the 30 days notice to quit, should I continue to collect rent, I read that if you file for eviction and continue to collect rent, you might have to start the eviction process all over. In case that I do not collect rent during eviction, when will I collect that rent money?
