No homes for rent = good opportunity or warning sign
Hey guys I’m a new investor that was looking primarily to flip houses but kept noticing there were very few properties in the area to rent. Over the course of a few months the inventory just seems slim. I wondered if this was an opportunity so i reached out to some rental property management companies and a couple of them (one managed 100 properties and the other 900) said they basically had no inventory.
At first glance it seems like there is an opportunity to buy some houses to rent, but am I missing something ?

Inventory is low for buyers too. Were you able to find deals in that area that match your criteria?
