Property Mgmt!! On the side?

I live in Massachusetts. I've been managing properties for a development company for almost a year. Its my first position in this field.

Am I allowed to offer my personal services and knowledge to other owners on the weekends? As long as it doesn't conflict with my regular work hours. Is it illegal or unethical? I also used to work for Buildium for 3yrs. So I specialize in that software.
