Starting A Project Management Division - Questions

I’d like to propose a new position in our fast growing property management company - Project Manager for renovations. Currently we are renovating units and completing capital projects on multi-family buildings. The units renovations are between $5K-$13K per unit so they are quite extensive to manage when you are managing 5-10+ per month AND managing the property. Additionally, we are overseeing projects such as new roof installs, painting, irrigation installs and landscaping rehabs. All projects are over $30K and require extensive oversight and follow up. That being said, I’d like to capture the data and understand how it is a value add to our company.

Any recommendations on books to read, videos to watch, or any other feedback you may have to help me gather the information needed to determine if this is something worth starting.

Thank you!
