Land Development - Planning The Acquisition Package

Shawn Wagner
Posted

Recently I attended a brief webinar put on by Vestright.com and discoverallieddevelopment.com. The topic was concerning putting together deals for land developers. I found the topic to be very interesting. Locating developers, contacting their acquisition team, and developing catered packages was how it was explained. Unfortunately, I was deterred by their sales process and their lack of ability to provide details as to what would be the deliverables and their unwillingness to share a price with the program. The son of the owner was the salesman, at least that is what he said repeatedly. He was quite evasive and divisive when I asked questions.

Anyway, I am interested in this topic and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on books/topics in this area. Alternatively, if you have taken this program and found merit and I just happened to have this rare occurrence please let me know.

Thanks
