International Students As Tenants

I'm curious to know how landlords in college towns deal with international students looking to rent their properties. What does the screening process look like? Are there any specific documents you ask them for?

I would love to hear your thoughts!

Is it just me or is there a strong scent of racism in many of these threads? I don't think international students (read brown people) have a monopoly on being dirty. I rent to all Americans and I can show you pictures of homes after they leave that would make your stomach turn. So can we drop the racism?
