Hello,

So my tenant is supposed to be out in 2 days as his lease expires. Last night he went to jail. I'm not sure how long he will be there, but i'm not sure what I can and can't do here. He is renting a room in my personal residence and also has a cat. Any advice would be helpful! Thank you!

Call the jail and ask when you can come visit him.

Go there and ask him when he will get out.

In the mean time feed the cat Purina Cat Chow...and change the litter once a week.

Make sure it has water at all times (milk gives them diarrhea).

You can get disposable litter boxes to make life easier.

Good Luck!
