Corporate Short Term Rental

Anna Rynders
Posted

My husband and I recently purchased a duplex to househack. We have been tossing out ideas as we update the other unit. We are thinking about marketing towards corporate employees as a place to stay while traveling for work. Does anybody have any experience with marketing their rentals specifically to businesses? We have been looking into Airbnb Business Travel but are more interested in having a direct relationship with companies. Thank you in advance!

@Anna Rynders we spend $4k to $5k to nicely outfit selected units in our apartment buildings, then rent them as corporate monthly rentals for 50% to 60% more than they would rent unfurnished. They must be located in a desirable area, and they require more staff time to lease, manage, and turn than traditional rentals do. But often it’s worth the extra effort.
