Tenant asking me to clean the backyard

Hello,

I have a new tenant who rented my apartment and they have an easy access to my backyard.However the backyard is not part of our lease agreement but I offered them as a freebie. There is a portion that is clean enough to hang around and another part is

not clean enough with dry leaves from my neighbor's trees and other debris.My new tenant is pushing me to have the backyard fully cleaned. Is it something I must take care?
