Hi, I have a 16 unit in Minnesota. I have a tenant that may have just up and abandoned his apartment. The maintenance man called me and said he hasn't seen anyone around for almost 2 weeks. I had him do a quick inspection and he found rotting/ molding food. The place stinks bad from garbage/ dirty diapers. I'm just wondering if he has just up and left (owes 2 months rent) What is the proper procedure to legally clean out and re-lease the unit. I've done a handful of evictions so I know how to do that, I've just never had to deal with this situation.
