Threatening text
Applicant called me and wanted me to rent to his sister, who had an eviction. I told him "no" several times but he would not drop the issue and finally I said "bye" (I could barely get a word in edgewise) and hung up. Then I received a text calling me an @sshole and threatening to throw rocks through the rental's windows.
Just to be safe I called the county sheriff to report it, although they said there's nothing they can do. This is the first time I've ever had this happen, and I hope this person was just blowing smoke. Has anyone else had this happen?

Probably blowing smoke. All I can say is save the txt, keep the call details from your mobile provider, document the call to law enforcement, etc. He could be your primary suspect.
