Recently off furlough applicants

I posted my first post-covid property for rent yesterday and have gotten a couple applicants who would be otherwise very qualified in normal times but work in the service/retail industry and are just coming back from being furloughed. I fear if Covid were to resurface in the fall, they could easily be right back in the same situation. Has anyone set a policy for maintained employment during the pandemic? Am I wrong for leaning toward not considering them?
