Covid 19 Clause in the Lease for Rental Property

Inder Bir Singh

Hello, I’m planning to start a lease with my new tenants from July onwards. I’m a frontline healthcare worker who would be living in the rental property. I want to add a clause in the lease to protect myself from any liabilities, basically stating that tenants understand the risk of living in the rental property in regards to the current pandemic and the spread of coronavirus. Any advice how I can deal with this situation or what specifically I can add in the lease?
