AirBnb rentals now moving to long term rentals?

How are you thinking about an increase of rental properties hitting the market as AirBnB rentals are likely now hitting the long term market?  See any pressure on rent? In a bit of fear, i gave my tenant $50/month off to sign a new lease which was due in May to ensure I locked them in for another year; was willing to give $100 but didn't have to go there.
