What would you pay/charge to market someone's wholesale?

If I called and asked you if you had any deals I could market to find a buyer for, what would be a ballpark fee/split to expect (so I don't sound like a total rookie).

Stephani Davis wrote "If I don’t have any properties of my own to market, I will call a few of the other wholesalers in my area and ask them if I can market one of their deals." - http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2009/08/06/easy-ways-build-wholesale-buyers-list/

Later on she said, "When I work with other wholesalers I get part of the profit if I find a buyer. I have 2 or 3 guys that I work with quite often and we are always partnering on deals."

The reason I ask is I have ran a web company for 10 years, and I know if I quote on work in NYC for less than $120-150/hr - the company will think I'm a flake. However, in smaller towns, $75-$100 is expected. So I've seen how you present yourself affects how people see you.

If you marketed someone's wholesale deal, what range would you feel was fair? Or vice versa, if someone marketed your deal to find a buyer, what range would you want to offer them?

Thanks so much guys. Love this site (it's my new daily read).
