Maintenance management system for new property

Ilan Siegel
Posted

How do you guys currently manage your maintenance requests as they come in? How often do your tenants reach out about issues? Is there any specific part of the system that you have streamlined really efficiently?

@Ilan Siegel If you're looking for a way to manage your maintenance requests, I suggest looking into a property management software that would help you track these. There are several free ones out there that would allow your tenants to add these requests and upload photos and videos for them too. If you have a maintenance team, you can also simply forward these tickets to them as when they come in. The whole maintenance process from finding out about the issue, to obtaining consent to enter the premises, messaging the tenants back and forth with updates and marking requests as resolved can be done by the use of property management software, making the whole process much simpler to manage.
