banks not helping tenants pay rent
I have a couple rentals where the tenants cant get cashiers check from their bank to pay rent and money orders need to be signed before depositing? Because the bank wont accept more then $499 in cash unless from an account holder, a Federal law just went into effect. I dont think it makes sense to ask tenants to open an account at my bank. What is anyone out there doing about this do you have a better solution than i get cash from tenant and sit in drive up with cash to deposit for rent? sheeesh
