How to write warning notice to tenant violate parking rule?

I have a tenant that keeps parking his two trucks in driveway. Although in his lease contract, there is a restricted driveway-parking clause: "Tenant(s) must park in closed garage at all times, not in the driveway". The former owner of this property advised me to not let tenants park in the driveway because they might break the concrete, so I followed her lease. Moreover, those two trucks of this tenant are really heavy, he's a landscaper and has many tools.

Could you guys give me some ideas how to stop my tenant from parking in the driveway, please? I'm thinking about sending him a warning notice or simply a text message, but I don't want to upset him. Because despite this issue, he is a good tenant. Thank you!

You don't mention what kind of trucks these are.  If they are pickups or typical landscaping trucks, I'd be surprised if they broke up your driveway by simply parking on them, assuming your driveway was in reasonably good condition when the tenants moved in.  Do you see any damage resulting from them parking there now?

If you feel it is warranted to warn your tenant, simply write a letter citing the pertinent part of your lease the tenant is violating and ask them to cease and desist immediately.  They might stop with just a letter.  If not, you have established grounds for charging their security deposit for a driveway repair/replacement.

Is the garage large enough to park the trucks?  If not, is there a viable alternative to the driveway?  Your letter may have the effect of driving out your tenant if there is no viable alternative.  Just something else to think about.
