Rental Properties - Series LLC vs. Traditional LLC

Hi all - I'm an investor in Chicago and am looking for advice on LLC strategies. In short, I'm looking to shelter every long-term rental investment under their own LLC.

What are other folks doing in this scenario? Are you creating a Series LLC then separate LLC's under Series or simply creating independent LLC's for each property? What is the most efficient, from a cost and state filing, option?

Thanks in advance for your input,

Austin Laughner
