Rentals with Garages

Kyle Keller
Posted

Hi everyone,

Looking at a rental property. It is a SFH (3 bedroom, 1.5 bath) but has no garage. Would this be an issue in your experience? it does have a shed in the backyard.

I appreciate all the help!

Thanks

One great thing about garages is that it allows tenants to store a lot of stuff. The more stuff they have, the harder it is to move, which can lead to lower vacancy. Increased rent and potentially lower vacancy are both things to consider when buying a rental with a garage.
