Looking for Contract Language for Contractor
I've been writing contracts with 1099's myself, but it's time to make sure I covered all the things that can happen when a project doesnt get done how he/they agreed to do it. Some of these guys have no creative spark and barely listen when i try to explain what i want even though it is captured in writing. There's been no issues over the last 10 years except for the guy who had ex-cons who smoked the last few days, just to stick to the schedule. Now i include a clause that prevents that. It's hard for me, a non-tool-user, to understand if the time in which they say it will get done is the truth. Plus it seems every remodel is different.! Appreciate your responses to this.
