When someone mentions they have a $100 million real estate portfolio, is that what the property is worth in total? Or is that what they have invested into it? Also, how much would a $100m commercial portfolio cash flow every year? Thanks

@Josh Jimenez I can't answer your last question because the answer is it depends on...everything about the property. To answer your first question, typically it means they own $100,000,000 worth of real estate. Not what they owe, not what they paid for it, but what the real estate is currently worth.
