Apartment complex lease
I currently live at a Morgan properties complex in Philadelphia. I told them im moving effectively April 30th as per my lease agreement. I signed a lease at another complex starting next Monday. I had every intention of moving in untill this Corona virus started and my restaurant had to close for some time. So if I signed a lease and put a reservation deposit of 200$ can I get out of it ?
am I liable if I haven't put any other money yet and haven't moved in. Even if they moved my move in date I could probably still move. Please and thank you for any help on this. O called them and waiting for the property manager to call me.
