City preventing us from renting out our home
My family and I currently own and live in a home and are looking to purchase a new home. We were excited to start our real estate investment carriers by renting out the house we now live in but we ran into a problem.
Our city recently implemented a rental density cap. The block we live on already has too many houses that are rented out and we are told that we cannot rent out ours.
Does anybody have experience with this restriction or know of any steps that can be taken from here?
