Rental brokers in San Francisco Bay Area

In New York City, I work with rental brokers to show my rental apartments to prospective tenants. They're paid one-month's rental fee to list the rental, screen tenants, show the property and run all credit/background checks and application paperwork. 

Helping my mother to list her San Francisco area apartment, and seeming similar broker services. Does this type of broker service exist in the San Francisco Bay area?
