Restaurant ventilation maintenance costs - who is responsible?

Hello, hope I get some advice on a newbie question.

I am a new landlord for a commercial space where a new tenant is in the process of setting up their new restaurant. The location had a restaurant before but the lease expired and the new tenant is essentially starting a new lease with me.

The restaurant has a BBQ and a ventilation system above it - this requires semi-yearly inspection to meet restaurant inspection standards.

Who is responsible for such inspection costs? My lease states that landlord provides for exhaust hood for BBQ, but tenant is responsible for maintenance and repair.
