Ocala area timeframe to find a renter

Hello Bigger Pockets members! I am new to the real estate investment business. I have been analyzing many properties (at least a couple a day) so I can get the hang of the process and to figure out which properties are so called deals. I am interested in the buy and hold strategy. Some of the properties I have looked at do not have renters currently in them and was hoping I could get some help on how long it normally takes to get a good renter. I am just starting out but determined to get my first property by the end of the year. Thank you for your help.
