Portable/Mini washer dryer units

Anyone have any experience with these? I’m shopping appliances for my house hack reno, and I’ve got one small closet for a laundry room. My option is either a stackable unit ($1300~) or these minutes units ($600).

I’m fine with using them. I don’t know if my roommates (4/2 sfr) will be though. The dryer isn’t even 2cu ft. I think most dryers are 4-6 (correct me if I’m wrong!).

Any thoughts are much appreciated! Just Trying not to spend more or less than I need.

I had on in a NYC apartment a while back, @Daniel Porter. It was better than nothing. The main downsides were that the full cycle (wash and dry) took a long, long time, the loads had to be pretty small, and you can't have two loads going at once (one wash and one dry).

I'd go with a stackable unit. With 4 people you want the extra capacity. Also, when it comes time to sell, it will most likely be to a family. Mom is going to look at that all-in-one machine, shake her head, and it will be off to the next showing.
