Can township-run electric force me to pay tenant's overdue bill?
Electric is in tenant's name and 6 months overdue. Township-run electric cannot shut off service in winter (not allowed here in PA due to cold). Township called me and said that I needed to pay the bill or they would put a lien on my apartment building. Is this allowed? Can I be help responsible for tenant's electric bill?
