Tenant locked the common bathroom (Los Angeles)

Folks,

I had 2 of my rooms on AirBnb and one room for a new tenant. I just discovered my tenant locked the common bathroom from the inside, as my AirBnb guest informed me.

I mistakenly did these things for this tenant:

- No written lease, though I disclosed the landlord / owner per California law

- Accepting rent not in advanced, but post-payment. Though it was weekly.

And she was rent late for 2 days, thus I delivered a "3 day notice to pay rent or quit" and recovered my rent for the first week.

And tonight the common bathroom was locked from inside. It was probably retaliatory.

I was thinking of something:

- Asking my tenant about it tomorrow. She might: a) confirm or b) deny and said the AirBnb guest do it. How can I do the repair and bill to her?

- I'll call a handyman to replace the lock with key, though it would be a loss

Please tell me what to do
