Multiple owners of a duplex
My sister-in-law is looking to purchase her first property as her primary residence. Properties in her desired areas are too high for her to purchase on her own. I am new to real estate investing and am curious if anyone has ever purchased a duplex where 2 entities had divided ownership without converting to condos. I would be looking to rent out my unit. Other ideas on how to structure ownership? I thought about a LLC with appropriate ownership percentages. Financing?
