My Friend and I are looking to start an LLC for property management in the Chicago Area, any advice on the process or things we might need to get started?!

Creating an LLC is a simple enough process regardless of what will be the business purpose of the resulting entity. Many online sources exist for cost effectively and quickly creating an LLC, of which I've used a few of them over the years. But when I got into Real Estate Investing and knew that I would be creating multiple LLC's over the coming years, I went to a local attorney and had them create an LLC on my behalf, while providing me with the operating agreement and initial minutes in a Word doc format. It was more expensive than the online options, but now I can create new entities as needed (using the same template docs) and only have to pay the state registration fee.
