STR in Mt Pleasant SC?

Hi Guys,

Anyone here familiar with short term rentals in Mt Pleasant SC? I know there is a 1% cap on STR (reading this is about 400 given that there are 40,000 homes). I was wondering if anyone knew if this cap had been met or was still open? Thinking of buying a property with an ADU to be used as a STR for house hacking. Thanks in advance!
