Too soon to look for tenants ?

How soon is it to start looking for tenants.

My wife and I are moving. We have decided to be landlords, first timers. We are in the middle of rehabbing our current property. We move in to our new property in 2 weeks and the rehab will be about 80% finished.

When is the best time to start marketing for tenants? Now or once the property is finished? We’re not sure we should have potential tenants walk thru a house that isn’t fully rehabbed or if we should put up pictures up of our property when we are still in the process of making it look nice.

Any feedback and criticisms would be helpful. Thanks in advanced!
