Washer, which is best?

Hi all,

Just curious what folks thoughts are on front loading vs. top loading washing machines.

I do see there is a significant cost difference in that the front loader is more expensive than the top loaders, but are they more efficient/heavy duty/desired by tenants?

The current top loader I have is destroyed, possibly due to it being left unbalanced for a while so I am leaning toward the front loader as I have not had as many issues with Front loaders as the Top loaders, but I am on the fence if the extra $4-500 or so is worth it or not.

Just looking for any insight or thoughts from fellow landlords on this before I decide to buy.

Thank you in advance!

I stopped providing washers and dryers with my units. If they are in place I give them to the next tenant and now they are there’s. Two many calls of broken washers and dryers for me. All my units have hookups and when I supplied them I always bought used off Facebook marketplace or Craigslist. I have contemplated renting them to tenants but then I’m on the hook for repairs and I wanted out of that business.
