I live in the Las Vegas area and planning on renting out my house. Is it possible to transfer the property into an LLC despite having a mortgage on it? Any advice is much appreciated!

Are you planning on doing something shady where you will need to be protected?

If not you have a mortgage and insurance already. Make sure to change you insurance to a Landlord policy.

These are 2 layers of protection. You likely don't need more.

Take care of your property and your tenants and you shouldn't have to worry.
