Can I write my lease for a company that isn't fully created yet?
I have submitted my documents for the formation of my LLC (woohoo!), but it is unlikely to be complete by the time my initial lease will begin. I have an applicant I am ready to accept. Can I write the lease into the LLC's name, not to me personally, even though the LLC isn't technically formed yet?
I was told also to wait until the LLC is officially formed before acquiring my EIN, just in case it does not go through for whatever reason. Obviously this means I don't have any sort of business bank accounts, and everything will be going through my personal accounts for now (Not sure this even matters, I'm honestly a newbie with all this LLC stuff). Will I have to go back and have my tenant sign a new lease once all of that is created, or is there a way for me to avoid having to do so?
Sorry if this is unclear, I'm kind of confused about it myself. I will try to clarify anything necessary in the comments, thanks!
