Tenant died but girlfriend wont leave

My tenant died but his girlfriend is still there. She was never on the lease but she wont leave or pay rent. Of course I have sympathy for her but Im still paying the mortgage. Does she have any rights? Do I need to go through an eviction? Thanks, Steve

Check your local laws regarding tenancy...... if she has been in there for quite awhile, the law in your state may still consider her a tenant even if not on the lease.....

Start the eviction....get that ball rolling......and call the police for an unlawful squatter
