Late payments and filing for eviction

So, with late rent payments, we normally file evictions on the 10th of the month (which is now tomorrow) and recently, tenants will come to us and want to pay before the hearing date. We allow it as long as they pay for the filing fee we paid and their late fees.

Is this the correct way to do it?
