Bad credit tenant but wealthy friend paying upfront
I have a prospective tenant that has informed me they have bad credit but is willing to pay 6 months in advance. Single mom coming out of divorce, recovering alcoholic, currently employed as a nurse.
The weird part is that the money is coming from a wealthy man, not her.
I haven’t run the credit and this hasn’t been verified yet but I’m meeting both later today at the property.
I have a bad feeling about it. Does this raise any red flags with you?
