Anyone else starting to see a shift in wholesaler marketing?

I'm sure as any buy and hold investor can relate you get a lot of "I want to buy your house" postcards, letters, etc.  However recently I've gotten a few direct mail marketing pieces that were looking for buyers not sellers, which I haven't seen much of before.

I wonder if this is a shift in the market/ investor sentiment driving this. Or it could be newbie wholesalers who find sub-par deals that most investors won't buy because it is no better than what is on MLS and need to find more rookie investors to take the mediocre deals. Interested to see the community's perspective on this.
