Why are Mobile, Alabama Property Managers turning down Section 8

Hello guys,

This is a distressing issue. I've called property manager after property manager. They are all telling me they are not accepting properties that use Section 8, and they are not renewing contracts for properties they already have on Section 8. What is going on here? This is the scariest part here because I live out of state. They say it is not the tenants. It is Section 8 policies.

What is going on and what can I do?
