Switching Inherited Tenants to Online Payments

Hello,

So we recently closed on a duplex that had tenants in place. Both tenants were mailing in checks to the property managers without issue. Neither tenant is tech savvy, so we haven't had any buy in on trying to get them to pay online. They are currently mailing checks, but we've already had one check that was mailed directly from the tenant's bank get lost in the mail (legitimately). It's been a two week ordeal now. All of our other tenants are doing direct deposit or paying through cozy and have never had the option or headache of mailed in checks.

So does anyone have a great way to encourage tenants with an existing lease to utilize online payments?

We will definitely be implementing an "inconvenience fee" for mailed in payments at future lease renewals. :)
