Inherited tenant and the washing machine?

I bought a rental and inherited a tenant. The house came with a small washer and dryer. I got a call today that the washer had stopped working. I don't really feel like it is my responsibility to get this repaired or replaced as it was a bonus with the house. No other person that I have talked to "provides" a washer and dryer in a single family home. Am I right in thinking this?
