Best ways to collect rent

Tim Addai
Posted

Hello BP family, what have you found to be the best way to collect rent? I'm closing on my first deal soon and currently some of the tenants have paid cash through PayNearMe. But that service is not available to sole proprietors. I'm considering using Cozy.co but that does not support cash payments either. I could go with traditional checks but I'm really looking to automate the process. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I’ve started collecting rent via Venmo.  It’s very easy for both the resident and me, and I don’t have to worry about NSF checks.
